Chatham Reads is one of thirteen counties in North Carolina that have joined the NC state-level initiative. The NC Campaign for Grade-Level Reading is an initiative to ensure that more children from low-income families succeed in school and are ready for college, careers, and active citizenship.


The National Book Access Association is a Sponsored Program of First Book. Founded in Washington, D.C. in 1992, First Book is an award-winning nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to eliminating barriers to learning and inspiring young minds.
