Are you passionate about promoting book access and literacy for all? Do you want to be part of a supportive and dynamic network of peers in the field? We invite you to become a valued volunteer in the National Book Access Association (NBAA) Working Groups!

Who We Are: NBAA is a thriving community of individuals, organizations, and government agencies, dedicated to advancing book access and literacy initiatives across the nation. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for readers of all ages and backgrounds.

Why Volunteer with NBAA Working Groups?

• Collaboration & Peer Learning: As a volunteer, you'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals who are actively running similar organizations. Share insights, best practices, and learn from one another to make a greater collective impact.

• Service to the Field: By joining our working groups, you'll actively contribute to the growth and success of book access initiatives nationwide. Your efforts will directly benefit communities and readers from all walks of life.

We're Looking for Volunteers in the Following Areas:

1. Conference Planning: Help organize and execute the main event bringing together the book access community, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and networking.

2. Membership: Help grow our vibrant community by planning webinars and networking sessions, welcoming new members, creating meaningful engagement opportunities, and ensuring our members' needs are met.

3. Communications: Be the public voice of NBAA! Help in recruiting new members, manage social media, and contribute your communications skills to raise awareness, promote events, and share inspiring stories about the impact of book access.

4. Ad Hoc Working Groups:  Research, Technology, Culture, Resource Sharing.  These are suggested topics for future working groups.  Got an idea?  Post it on the discussion forum and see if interest grows.
