The National Book Access Association (NBAA) invites all members to attend the December General Meeting, which will replace the quarterly Steering Committee meeting. This event will provide an opportunity to review progress, hear from leadership, and foster connections within the book access community.
Agenda Highlights:
- Summary Progress Reports: Each working group (Membership, Fundraising, Finance, Communications, and Conference) will present a concise update on current activities and initiatives.
- Guest Speaker – Kyle Zimmer: Kyle Zimmer, President and Co-Founder of First Book, will address the group, sharing First Book’s goals and offering insights on the ongoing importance of NBAA’s mission.
- Networking and Brainstorming: Attendees will have the opportunity to join small breakout sessions designed for networking and collaborative idea exchange.
- Steering Committee Elections: A vote will take place to confirm new Steering Committee members. Larry Abrams of BookSmiles is currently nominated and under consideration.
