So once they have the books, then what?
Supporting families in using your books
Join Richard C. Owen Publishers and friends for an engaging webinar designed to explore resources available to the families receiving your books. The speakers are all current and former educators with a passion for literacy. They see the value in children receiving good books and have practical strategies and resources to support families in using your books.
In this webinar you’ll:
· Learn about our organization’s purpose: Helping parents, grandparents and caregivers explore practical and natural examples of using good books to support their child’s literacy journey.
· Explore The Parent Guide, a small pamphlet, containing specific reading tips for parents and caregivers.
· Take a closer look at The Literacy Gallery and the information it contains.
We will close with an opportunity to ask questions.
Webinars are free for members and $25 for non-members. If you haven't yet joined the NBAA, please click here to sign up and stay in touch.
