This facilitated conversation brings executive leaders together for candid, peer-level reflection on the realities of leading book access organizations today. As the field grows in visibility, scale, and complexity, leaders face increasing pressure to balance mission and sustainability, collaboration and competition, and personal capacity with collective responsibility. This session offers a confidential space to share challenges, exchange insights, and reflect on what leadership looks like in this moment.

Guiding Questions (Open-Ended):

  • What feels most different about executive leadership right now?

  • Where are you experiencing the greatest tension between mission, growth, and sustainability?

  • How do you navigate collaboration in a field where organizations may also feel like competitors?

  • What leadership practices have you had to unlearn—or newly adopt—as your organization has evolved?

  • Where do you find support or renewal as a leader—and where do you need more?

  • What do you hope the National Book Access Association can hold or create for executive leaders in the years ahead?

This session will not be recorded.

This free event is members-only and will be hosted live on Zoom. If you haven't yet joined the NBAA, please click here to sign up and stay in touch.
