National Book Access Association
A sponsored project of First Book
Join this conversation about start-up organizations, led by the NBAA's very own Association Director, Maria Dismondy! She is a former teacher turned children’s author, publisher, and now the proud founder of a book access nonprofit on a mission to get stories into the hands of every child. When she’s not juggling books and big ideas, she’s busy keeping up with her three kids, two dogs, and one very patient husband. Maria believes in the power of stories to spark joy, build empathy, and maybe even inspire a dance party in the living room.
This session brings together organizations of similar sizes and time in operation to discuss shared opportunities and challenges. Size Affinity Group Sessions create space for honest conversation, peer learning, and mutual support among organizations navigating comparable staffing, funding, and operational realities. This session will not be recorded.
This free event is members-only and will be hosted live on Zoom. If you haven't yet joined the NBAA, please click here to sign up and stay in touch.
